I contacted Matt when I wanted to have my downstairs bathroom updated. I couldn't afford to totally re-do the bath, but wanted to make more space and give the room an overall uplifted appearance. I found Matt very easy to work with, professional and very knowledgeable. He was prompt in giving me an estimate and scheduling a time to start. I gave Matt the house key, took a four-day vacation and came back to a new bathroom. I have since employed Matt to do several small jobs that I'm not able to tackle myself, including designing and constructing a copper plant shelf for my kitchen window. I'm making a list and will be calling Matt soon. |
If you want a fantastic job done on your home, call Matt at the Living Wood Workshop. I have referred 5 clients to him already and am still counting.

Matt is an artist, a craftsman, one who designs rather than builds. His finished products are of high quality, practical, and visually pleasing. Ken |
Matt is a true craftsman/artist in every sense. His ideas and skills are beyond excellent. I had Matt do a complete re-model of my home which included removing walls, replacing oak flooring, and turning a small bedroom into a large master bath off (which required a great deal of tile work). Matt also created a media room that included large built in oak bookcases. I relied heavily on Matt's ideas and suggestions on how best to achieve the look I wanted. He is a true perfectionist and will not quit on a project until it's perfect. I have recommended Matt to several and will continue to do so with confidence. Stan |
In 2007 we discovered serious termite damage in our den walls and floor. Matt took over and not only repaired the damage but he made the entire room better than before. We were pleased by the work and Matt's care in seeing that everything was done in a first rate manner with no waste or cost overuns. A real master of his craft! Earl |
